Artist Statement

“Creating and performing music enriches my life and I hope that my music enriches the lives of others as well. I believe that music lies at the very heart and soul of an emotionally, spiritually, and aesthetically full life. I feel centered and alive when I am engaged with music. Music makes me laugh, cry, dance, sing, wail, and feel comforted, hopeful, peaceful, and inspired in one way or another.  Music expression encompasses the full range of human emotions, from the depths of despair to unbridled joy, from sadness and fear to happiness and security, from anxiety to lightheartedness.  I endeavor to incorporate this entire range of emotion in my arrangements and my performances.”
